We <3 Heart Health
February is American Heart Month, and there’s no better time to commit to a healthy lifestyle in order to help keep your ticker in tip-top shape. There are plenty of small changes you can make to support your heart every day, year after year. Here are some easy tips to try out today!
- 1. Eat healthy. Awareness is key when it comes to smart eating. This doesn’t necessarily mean counting every calorie that passes your lips, but rather knowing which foods to favor (fruits, veggies, lean proteins, fiber-rich grains) and which ones to limit or banish (fast food).
- 2. Fortify your diet. Supplements can help fill nutritional gaps in your diet, and are a great way to get nutrients not readily available in foods – like Coenzyme Q-10, for example. Our Co Q-10 Gummies are an easy way to support heart health, and their fun peach-mango flavor will have you looking forward to taking them each day.*
- 3. Get moving. Cardio, or aerobic exercise, is anything that raises your heart rate and really gets your blood pumping. Physical activity strengthens your heart, and can help keep your cholesterol and blood pressure levels healthy, too. Muscles need to be exercised…and your heart is the most important muscle in your body.
- 4. Stress less. Experiencing occasional stress is a part of life – but it certainly shouldn’t rule your life. Taking steps to let go of stress and staying closer to a zen-like state will do wonders for your heart in the long term.
